Kevin Umlauf, 46, of Rogersville, was born March 9, 1960, in Springfield, and passed away July 20, 2006, in Springfield. He was a 1978 graduate of Hillcrest High School. Kevin was the owner of Sunshine Bike Shop for the last six years. His love of cycling was evident in all the volunteer work he provided to the community. Kevin touched many lives in many ways. He always had a hand stretched out to help for anybody who needed it. Kevin's enthusiasm inspired people to pursue things they would have never dreamed of doing. It was all 110% with Kevin in all that he did. His spirit and his presence will be missed by all that loved and knew him. Godspeed Kevin. Kevin was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Myrtle and Thurman Floyd and paternal grandparents, Lige and Cleo Umlauf. Survivors include his daughters, Jenna and Jerra mother, Kay Meeker father, Boyd Umlauf and wife, Donna brothers, Kory Umlauf and his wife, Susie, and Kenton Umlauf nephews, Logan, Blake and Grant Umlauf and a host of close friends.
