When I lived in PA a few years ago, the family with the biggest house and the most and fanciest cars and the most gold and diamonds dripping off of their fingers who had a house in Spain and a share in a private jet….were the manager/owner of a couple glamour shots storefronts. They burned money in their gold plated fireplace I think.
This, and Olan Mills both, perfect examples of how NOT to take a photograph.

Candace, mother put a lot of pressure on me to do the Glamour Shots, I think I was the only one in my circle who didn’t cave, and now….I’m soooo glad I didn’t. It used to crack me up when the female real estate agents would use GS for their head shot! One the other hand, we were on the Olan Mills family plan….

Funny! I did, however, do a boudoir shoot…LOL, I still had very very long hair (past my butt) and had just lost the weight from being pregnant. I am actually pretty happy about that shoot. No one ever sees the photos, but a hundred years from now I think they will be very interesting to anyone who is around. LOL>
I just today commented to my mom…how regretful I was that there never, ever, was a photo taken of the four of us! My brother was 26…no one ever made a family portrait happen! I would take an Olan Mills of the four of us if I could get one.
Speaking of Photography, stop by In Repose tomorrow, for an interesting announcement.
