We love the orange alabaster stone for carving. Softer than marble, the beautiful brilliant orange stone is rare in the mineral kingdom. Alabaster forms close to the earth’s surface and is quarried all over the world, including the United States.

The Urn Garden artists have transformed slabs of alabaster stone, accentuated the natural translucency and veining of the stone, and created a unique, beautiful art piece cremation urn.

Our Sand Blast Golf urn is sculpted by an award winning American designer. The golf urn statue has been sculpted using the ancient lost wax method and then recreated in great detail using cold cast resin with bronze filler for the look and feel of solid bronze. The Golf sculpture is mounted on a solid maple wood urn. This solid wood urn is also available in a dark finish.

Guardian Companion Urn
One of our most secure urns, the Guardian Companion Urn is a double capacity urn designed for placement in a niche or columbarium.

Niche design by Wolf Designs
The compact design of this urn makes it ideal for niche spaces less than 12 x 12, with two separate compartments in the urn to store ashes. Gorgeous white and celadon onyx with 22k gold plated brass accents make this urn a natural beauty. The Guardian Double Cremation Urn can be customized with appliques or engraved brass plates to personalize and identify the urn.

If your loved one was fond of purple, The Moonlight Bohemian Cremation Urn might be the tribute you are looking for. Rich color and detail, The Moonlight Bohemian is a blown glass urn with a lid that opens from the top and can be permanently sealed if desired.

Blown Glass Cremation Urn
August birthdays could pair purple gladiolus, candles and pictures with this urn at the memorial service for a beautiful display.

Glads are easy to grow if you are considering a memorial garden, or just a special flower planting dedicated to your loved one. We thew some down in the garden this year and were pleased with the results. We want more!

Took a peek at my florist’s selection of wreaths designed for a cremation urn. Not a lot of options, they had two in a notebook, not listed on their website. Here’s some ideas for a memorial service urn floral display staged with various marble, metal, and cloisonne urns.
My favorite is a more wild natural look, with a combination of roses, succulents, and wildflowers. Simple and beautiful and softens the metal urn.

A marble or stone urn is paired with a more traditional style wreath studded with roses, daisies, and greenery.

Lilies are so fragrant, and symbolize friendship.

This next one seems a bit heavy on the pink, but if it was the deceased’s favorite color, hey, bring it on! This particular arrangement gives you an idea of blending the elements of candles, flowers or urn in the loved one’s favorite color to personalize the memorial service. The explosion of pink has all the funeral favorites, roses, Gerber daisies, glads, lilies, and carnations.

Soon, we’ll be celebrating the return of the hummingbirds. A popular choice with families is our Hummingbird cloisonne urn. Available in both a single adult size, as well as a double capacity companion urn. Despite it’s delicate appearance, Cloisonne is a strong and durable blend of metal and baked enamel.

The Truth and Friendship marble urn is the first memorial urn featured in our Shades of Blue Cremation Urn Collection. The Urn Garden artists have crafted this cremation urn from the ancient stone Lapis Lazuli , the stone of friendship and truth. The blue stone is said to encourage harmony in relationships and help its wearer to be authentic and give his or her opinion openly.

Lapis features deep shades of blue dusted with golden flecks of pyrite and intermittent gray or white calcite deposits and takes an excellent polish that shimmers like a star. This ancient stone was a favorite with the Egyptians who crafted it for jewelery, and used the crushed minerals for eyeshadow.

Simple and economical, the pine box urn may be the choice for families that may want a wood urn for traveling with ashes, or who plan to scatter at a later date.

Simple Pine Box Urn
For families that prefer a little more stylized urn, we have a hand-painted pine with striking gold accents against a dark stain with a vintage look finish.
